Each month, our residents choose a locally owned business in Lee’s Summit to check out during one of our outings. This month, it was Dough’pamine Queens 🎂🍪
Not only were the treats delicious, but the staff was so kind and welcoming, and the decor inside was so much fun!

Every year Silverado families are surveyed by U.S. News & World Report about their experience with us. Here are just a few comments shared by verified Silverado Lee’s Summit family members when surveyed:

“Making the decision to transition our loved one to a memory care facility was very difficult, but the team at Silverado helped ease that transition not only for our loved one, but the entire family. They have been very supportive throughout the process. At Silverado, keeping the residents happy, healthy, comfortable and engaged is the top priority. Residents are treated as unique individuals and care is tailored to their specific needs. It has given our family great peace of mind to know our loved one is well-cared for.”

“A year ago I had to make the hard decision of placing both of my parents in a memory care facility and after some searching i chose Silverado, best decision. This past year has not been easy – having not one but two parents with Alzheimer’s and other health issues but the one thing that has been consistent is Silverado. My parents feel safe and loved and I feel supported and heard. I am grateful for each and every person from admin to nursing, caregivers to residents and other families.”

“No one wants to see their loved one end up in Memory Care. Sadly, we had to move my dad to Silverado two years ago. It was the best place for him. I always felt welcomed and felt like they loved my dad as if he were their family member. Over the two years of visiting my dad I saw compassionate, hard working caregivers. I would highly recommend Silverado..”

    Why choose Silverado?

    Open/close panel
    Open/close panel

Many families shared the peace of mind they experienced when they finally chose Silverado after wrestling with feelings of guilt that comes from deciding to reach out for help. Even a family working together cannot replicate what an expert team of professionals who do this for a living and get to go home at night and rest can provide. Even superhuman strength eventually gives out. Once families make a move to Silverado and see that their loved one is better off and they can sleep again, the common refrain is, “I should have moved my loved one in earlier.” They are relieved to be the daughter, son, husband, or wife again and not the caregiver.

We want to reassure you that we understand that no one knows your loved one more than you do. We are the experts in what we do, having led the way in memory care for over 20 years. Families have shared they recognized that a delay in placement is a delay in care in treating this illness, and we know that a delay can result in a dangerous crisis for the exhausted caregiver or your loved one. Do not wait for an emergency. We invite you to give us a call at (816) 321-1648 and schedule a time to visit Silverado Lee’s Summit.

In fact, we’re so confident that Silverado is the best choice to provide for your loved one’s needs we offer a satisfaction pledge unequaled in memory care.

We look forward to meeting you soon.
