Every year Silverado families are surveyed by U.S. News & World Report about their experience with us. Here are just a few comments shared by verified Silverado Beverly Place family members when surveyed:
“I toured every possible community for my mother, but Silverado’s “all memory care” structure means she can live and socialize with others who are a similar stage of memory loss/dementia. This has helped my mom’s transition, kept her more engaged than she may have been in a different community, and ensured that her caregivers were trained in her specific needs. The staff has consistently been kind and competent, and I’m always grateful that she has them by her side day to day.”
“Silverado is a comfortable place providing complete care for my family member with Alzheimer’s Disease. My family member is happy there, engaged in activities as well as possible, and I have the unqualified belief that she is safe and well-cared for in every aspect of her life.”
“This is is a difficult experience for any family and silverado clearly understands this and does so very much to make it an easy experience for the family and a safe and fun environment for the resident.”
“I had no experience with any aging relatives, and wasn’t aware of how intense, complicated and hard it was to come to terms with my Mom’s cognitive decline. I had taken care of my Mom at our home, and was her Caretaker for about a year, but I started to realize that I needed professional help and services. I ended up deciding on Silverado to help, and provide that care and home-like security/safety for my Mom. The facility and staff at Silverado have been wonderful, and always provide me with updates and are there to answer any questions. My Mom’s medical needs with her advanced Dementia w Psychosis, has been more than outstanding…giving her opportunities with daily activities to keep her mind sharp and aware, and the entire staff, nurses, administrators, etc.. have become like family for us. Silverado Beverly is a wonderful place, and my Mom (and her dog) has adjusted to residing there and during my visits she constantly tells me that she enjoys her time with her new friends and the careful attention and care she’s been receiving. Thank you Silverado Beverly!”
Many families shared the peace of mind they experienced when they finally chose Silverado after wrestling with feelings of guilt that comes from deciding to reach out for help. Even a family working together cannot replicate what an expert team of professionals who do this for a living and get to go home at night and rest can provide. Even superhuman strength eventually gives out. Once families make a move to Silverado and see that their loved one is better off and they can sleep again, the common refrain is, “I should have moved my loved one in earlier.” They are relieved to be the daughter, son, husband, or wife again and not the caregiver.
We want to reassure you that we understand that no one knows your loved one more than you do. We are the experts in what we do, having led the way in memory care for over 20 years. Families have shared they recognized that a delay in placement is a delay in care in treating this illness, and we know that a delay can result in a dangerous crisis for the exhausted caregiver or your loved one. Do not wait for an emergency. We invite you to give us a call at (323) 852-9200 and schedule a time to visit Silverado Beverly Place.
In fact, we’re so confident that Silverado is the best choice to provide for your loved one’s needs we offer a satisfaction pledge unequaled in memory care.
Stephanie joins Silverado with over 15 years’ experience as a community relations representative in senior living and five years as a dementia educator and public speaker. Prior to Silverado, she served as the Education and Advocacy Manager for the Alzheimer’s Association and Alzheimer’s Greater Los Angeles. Stephanie was first introduced to Silverado when she toured a community about ten years ago. After being greeted by a very friendly golden retriever and a cat lounging on the reception desk, she knew she was about to experience something life changing. She saw people engaged – watching children play, singing, laughing and enjoying their home. It was at that moment, that she decided at some point, she would join the Silverado family. She did just that and joined us as Silverado Beverly Place’s Family Ambassador. Stephanie was promoted to Administrator in April 2024. She is proud to work with a remarkable team of dedicated and passionate professionals and is excited to enrich the lives of those she serves.

Maria Diaz-Roldan
Assistant Director of Health Services
Maria’s journey with Silverado began in 2010 as a nurse for Silverado Hospice Los Angeles, where she provided compassionate care across multiple locations throughout the city. However, when she first stepped into Silverado Beverly Place, she was captivated by the respect, dignity and love shown to residents by caregivers, nurses, and other associates. Maria’s previous experience as an LVN in nursing homes was a sharp contrast to what she witnessed at the community, and she immediately knew she wanted to be part of it.
Later, Maria joined Silverado Beverly Place as a charge nurse and was promoted to Assistant Director of Health Services in September 2022. She truly loves working with residents and families, cherishing the opportunity to make a difference in their lives during such a challenging chapter.
In her free time, Maria enjoys spending quality time with her family, camping and reading books.
