Mother's Day with Tommy Hawk
The Chicago Blackhawks mascot pays our community a visit for Mother's Day
Teri, a resident of Silverado St. Charles, and her daughter, Jan, are huge Chicago Blackhawks fans. They have attended many of their games together in the past and have fond memories of the times they spent cheering on their favorite hockey team. But these days, it is a bit more challenging getting Teri to the stadium.
However, for this past Mother's Day, it just so happened that the Blackhawks were holding a contest where select winners could have their mother meet the Blackhawks' mascot, Tommy Hawk. Jan jumped at this opportunity as it was a chance for her and her mother to engage with their favorite team once more! And as luck would have it, Jan ended up winning, and soon the whole community was looking forward to hosting Tommy! Tommy's visit was kept a surprise from Teri, and when he finally arrived at the community over Mother's Day weekend, Teri was overflowing with joy and excitement. She couldn't believe that Tommy had taken time out of his busy day to visit her and was incredibly touched! Tommy even brought her gifts and his amusing antics had Teri smiling the whole time he was here!
As diehard Blackhawks fans, this special moment was the best Mother's Day gift that mother and daughter were able to enjoy together.
