    Rochelle Carpio

    Administrator

    Rochelle brings 15 years of experience in long-term care within the healthcare industry and has served as The Huntington’s Administrator since 2022. She is passionate about supporting our elderly population, ensuring they are safe, thriving and living with dignity. Rochelle enjoys working closely with residents and being a resource for their loved ones by providing education and support. With a diverse background in leadership, marketing and business development, she is thrilled to be part of the Silverado The Huntington team!

    Rochelle received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts and is a licensed CA RCFE Administrator.

    She enjoys traveling and lives in Southern California with her family.

    Dr. Norman T. Chien

    Medical Director

    Dr. Chien graduated from National Taiwan University College of Medicine in 1991. He had an internal medicine residency followed by geriatric medicine training at St Louis University. He was adjunct assistant professor at St Louis University before moving on to teach geriatric medicine at Huntington Memorial Hospital.

    Dr. Chien has practiced medicine since 1998, when he moved to California. He was additionally certified in Holistic Medicine by the Academy of Integrative Medicine in 2014. He is the inventor of the Sano Curatio stethoscope sanitation barrier. He is particularly skilled in understanding polypharmacy and the adverse effects of modern pharmaceuticals. Additionally, he studies and utilizes pulse electromagnetic field for its health benefits.

    Dr. Chien believes in a whole person approach to health and focuses on incorporating these healthy habits into his own lifestyle. He emphasizes spirituality and innovation in his approach to care and life. His hobbies are hiking, skiing, and living a productive and meaningful life.

    Arienne joined Silverado in 2007, working as an LVN/Charge Nurse at The Huntington community in Alhambra. While continuing to work at the community she pursued her education and continued to build her skills and understanding, eventually graduating from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor in Science Nursing (BSN) degree and earning her RN License in 2016. Soon after Arienne transferred to Silverado Sierra Vista in Azusa as Assistant Director of Health Services. Arienne’s skills and dedication made her a natural fit for her role as Director of Health Services!

    Janette began her career at Silverado The Huntington in 2008 and worked her way up to Culinary Director in 2014. Janette takes pride in hand picking the freshest ingredients to use in her recipes, resulting in a meal to be savored and not just a meal to be eaten. Her award winning chocolate cake with ganache frosting (which is a secret recipe) is always a favorite with our residents and their families. She is always mindful of providing the best nutrition while making every meal a true dining experience.

    Elizabeth began working as a part time receptionist at Silverado Sierra Vista in April 2014. Three years later, she became full time receptionist and loved everything about the warm environment Silverado offers its associates. She is passionate about working at Silverado because she has seen the impact that her team is making on our residents. Elizabeth is married with three lovely children and can be found on her time off at her nine year old’s sporting events or tending to her succulent garden.
