Every year Silverado families are surveyed by U.S. News & World Report about their experience with us. Here are just a few comments shared by verified Silverado St. Charles family members when surveyed:
“My cousin has been a resident at Silverado for more than 2 years now. I have been SO impressed with the care, support and understanding the staff has always shown me along this journey. And the care they have shown my cousin has been amazing! I am so glad that she is at Silverado.”
“My husband has been a resident at Silverado-St. Charles for over two years. It is a wonderful facility. It is all on one level, and has a beautiful courtyard. I feel very confident in the care and personal attention he receives there. Their engagement programs and close medical supervision have kept him strong and active. They also support family members through support group and family gatherings. It has become our second home.”
“Silverado St Charles provides the care that my loved one needs in a safe, dignified manner. I trust the community’s skills to provide the care for my loved one that is best for her. My loved one could not stay in her home for safety reasons, Silverado is the next best thing and I am so grateful that there care allows me to have a wonderful relationship with my loved one.”
Many families shared the peace of mind they experienced when they finally chose Silverado after wrestling with feelings of guilt that comes from deciding to reach out for help. Even a family working together cannot replicate what an expert team of professionals who do this for a living and get to go home at night and rest can provide. Even superhuman strength eventually gives out. Once families make a move to Silverado and see that their loved one is better off and they can sleep again, the common refrain is, “I should have moved my loved one in earlier.” They are relieved to be the daughter, son, husband, or wife again and not the caregiver.
We want to reassure you that we understand that no one knows your loved one more than you do. We are the experts in what we do, having led the way in memory care for over 20 years. Families have shared they recognized that a delay in placement is a delay in care in treating this illness, and we know that a delay can result in a dangerous crisis for the exhausted caregiver or your loved one. Do not wait for an emergency. We invite you to give us a call at (630) 793-4464 and schedule a time to visit Silverado St. Charles.
In fact, we’re so confident that Silverado is the best choice to provide for your loved one’s needs we offer a satisfaction pledge unequaled in memory care.
