With a rich and varied background in healthcare, Ashiman joins the Silverado family with a passion for profoundly impacting residents’ lives. Starting her professional journey as a dentist, she quickly discovered an interest in operations, prompting her to pursue a Master’s in Healthcare Administration. Over the past several years, Ashiman has seamlessly transitioned into leadership roles within the healthcare sector. Her expertise encompasses finance, human resources, team development and clinical outcomes, demonstrating her holistic approach to enhancing healthcare delivery.

Ashiman has dedicated her career to serving older adults with dementia, driven by a deep love for her grandparents. This personal connection fuels her passion for making a difference in the lives of those affected by this challenging disease. As Administrator, Ashiman strives to enact positive change not only for the residents but also for their loved ones.

In her spare time, Ashi finds joy in spending time with her beloved 100-pound Great Pyrenees and her family. An avid traveler, she loves escaping to the beach, brunch outings and cozying up on the couch to watch her favorite shows.

Dr. AlSayegh is board-certified in internal medicine. He attended medical school at the University of Damascus Faculty of Medicine in Syria and completed his internal medicine training at Henry Ford Hospital – Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Dr. AlSayegh is on staff at West Hills Hospital and Los Robles Hospital, as well as multiple skilled nursing facilities in the area. He enjoys living a healthy and active lifestyle as well as spending time with his family and young daughter.

Following in her mother’s footsteps, Heather began her career as a Medical Assistant in 1990. She went on to further her career and became a Certified Nursing Assistant, Licensed Vocational Nurse and Registered Nurse. Additionally, Heather earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and just recently, earned her Master of Science in Nursing and became a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has experience in assisted living, skilled nursing, acute care, home health, hospice and palliative care. Heather has always enjoyed working with seniors and looks forward to enriching the lives of the residents at Thousand Oaks.

Outside of Silverado, Heather is happily married to her high school sweetheart and has two sons. She enjoys hiking, biking, wine tasting and spending time with her family and dogs.

With over five years of experience in aging and dementia care, Brooklyn joins the Silverado family, driven by a deep passion for enriching residents’ lives. She has worked in diverse roles providing care including a private caregiver, med tech, life enrichment specialist, care manager, advocate and counselor. Brooklyn holds a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a minor in Psychology from CSU Channel Islands and went on to earn her Master’s in Gerontology and Social Work, with an emphasis in Adult Mental Health and Wellness at the University of Southern California. Aside from her educational achievements, Brooklyn is also a member of the Geriatric Social Work Consortium.

Brooklyn’s dedication to elder care is deeply personal, stemming from her own grandmother’s journey with dementia. This experience ignited her passion, which remains a driving force in her professional life today. Brooklyn is constantly motivated to explore innovative approaches to enrich the lives of residents and families.

Outside of Silverado, Brooklyn enjoys going on hikes, painting and spending quality time with her husband and two cats.

Toni first joined Silverado in 2017 at Silverado Calabasas. She brings a deep understanding of sensitivity and empathy toward residents, families, and associates, ensuring every interaction reflects Silverado’s standard of compassionate care. In her new role as Family Ambassador at Silverado Thousand Oaks, Toni is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections and takes an intentional approach to learning each family’s unique needs, listening from a place of love.

Toni’s “why” is rooted in love and service. She listens with compassion and helps guide each family through challenging times with thoughtful solutions. Her work reflects her belief that understanding obstacles is the first step toward creating positive outcomes.

Jessica brings a wealth of experience in senior and disability care, with a background that spans home care coordination, home health and hospice consultation, and marketing and sales leadership within assisted living communities. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communications with an emphasis in Public Relations and recently received a Master of Science in Gerontology, Management of Aging.

Driven by a strong belief in the power of knowledge, Jessica strives to be a trusted guide for families and professional partners. Her commitment to elder care is deeply rooted in her personal experience with her grandfather’s journey through Alzheimer’s, which shaped her compassionate, solutions-focused approach. As Community Ambassador, Jessica is dedicated to educating and advocating for families navigating the challenges of dementia.

Outside of her professional life, Jessica enjoys spending time in nature, listening to music, doing culinary activities and making memories with her family and dogs.

Jessie joined the Silverado family in 2016 as a caregiver. In 2018, he became an Engagement Assistant and was later promoted to Lead Engagement Assistant. Jessie enjoyed educating new associates about the unique Silverado vision which later earned him his current role as the Director of Resident Engagement. Today, he continues to promote and honor Silverado’s mission by serving residents with dignity, respect, empathy and compassion. Jessie is truly passionate about his work and Silverado’s model of care that utilizes a non-drug approach to ensure residents are receiving a good quality of life.

Jessie holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from California State University Channel Islands.

Outside of Silverado, Jessie leads an active lifestyle. He enjoys CrossFit, hiking, teaching martial arts inspired classes and enjoying delicious vegan food.

Bringing over 15 years of culinary expertise to his role at Silverado Thousand Oaks, Brian has honed his craft through dedication and a passion for the culinary arts. His journey in the kitchen is marked by a commitment to innovation and excellence, constantly seeking new ways to delight the palate for residents. Brian’s love for the culinary world extends beyond his professional life, as he continuously strives to elevate his skills and inspire those around him.

Outside of the kitchen, Brian cherishes time with his wife and two children, enjoying the balance between family life and his professional pursuits. He loves exploring nature and discovering new foods and restaurants, always eager to incorporate fresh experiences and flavors into his culinary repertoire.

Dan brings over 18 years of experience in senior living, having served in key leadership roles such as Dining Services Director, Hospitality Director and Plant Operations Director. His diverse background allows him to approach resident care with a well-rounded perspective and a strong commitment to service.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys cooking, camping, ATV riding and spending quality time with his family.

Marisol has been a valued member of the Silverado family since 2014. She began her journey as a receptionist at Silverado Calabasas and swiftly advanced to the role of Administrative Assistant. In 2023, Marisol brought her expertise to our Silverado Thousand Oaks Community, where she continues to play a vital role.

Marisol was born and raised in California. On her free time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family.
